Colorado Springs, located in the heart of the Pikes Peak Region is a great place to live for an extended stay, whether you
are visiting Colorado Springs while on temporary job assignment, building a
house, as a visiting professor, author or playright looking for a place to
create your next masterpiece, or for a myriad of other purposes. The Pikes Peak
Region of Colorado, with 14,110 ft Pikes Peak as its crown jewel, is great
metropolitan area blessed with many natural wonders and
points of interest to enjoy in your free time. Drive to the top of the mountain
that inspired "America the Beautiful" using your
own car or by riding the famous cog railway. Visit Santa’s North pole workshop. See the famous
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the Will Rogers Shrine. Stroll through fabulous Garden
of the Gods. Explore Cave of the Winds--our mini-Carlsbad Caverns. Take a walk
back in time by visiting the
Manitou Cliff dwellings, a realistic re-creation of the primitive stone
dwellings of the Anasazi Indians who lived in the four-corners region of
Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah until about 1300 AD. Visit the U.S. Air Force Academy--the
North entrance is about a 5 minute drive. Take in a class AAA baseball game.

sleeps a maximum of 12 people. Here are the sleeping arrangements: Main level
Master Suite: King bed, balcony, and fireplace adjoining a spacious 5-piece bathroom with
fireplace, separate tub,
shower, double vanity and walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 (doubles as a den): Queen sofa-sleeper,
sitting area, and desk with free high speed wireless internet access.
Walk-out level Bedroom #3: Twin beds with a Jack/Jill bath (with shower/tub shared
with bedroom 4). Bedroom #4: Queen bed and Jack/Jill bath (with shower/tub shared
with bedroom 3). Bedroom suite #5: King with full bath (doubles as hall bath for lower
level use). The walk-out level also has a family room with surround-sound home
theater, sleeping alcove with queen sleeper sofa, a wet bar, pool table,
table-game area, and a walk out patio.
The main Level has living room, dining room, gourmet kitchen with island,
breakfast nook (views of Pikes Peak and the pond), desk, full bath and bedroom
#2 (bedroom 2 can be configured as a suite). There are books and games for the entire family. The main level also
has laundry room and a spacious 3-car garage.
From the covered back deck you can enjoy the majestic views of Pikes Peak and
enjoy the peaceful pond in your own back yard, or you can grill steaks using its
charcoal BBQ. Others of your friends and family can be
downstairs in the entertainment room playing pool, watching a movie in the home
theater, or playing a table game. Bring your favorite CD for listening enjoyment
on the 3-zone house audio system.
Stone Crossing House is fully air-conditioned, has a 3-car garage, and is
wired with free hi-speed internet access.
