The Kluth vacation house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood within a 15-30 minute drive to most of the area attractions, including the US Air Force Academy, the Garden of the Gods, the historic town of Manitou Springs, downtown Colorado Springs, and the Broadmoor Hotel, site of the 2011 US Women's Open. Situated on the west side of Colorado Springs at the base of 14,110 ft Pikes Peak, the Kluth vacation house can be your home base for exploring the Pikes Peak region and west to the snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountains. Colorado Springs and its beautiful mountain neighbor, Manitou Springs, are host to or in close proximity with, a number of natural and civic attractions, including the Pikes Peak cog railway, Barr Trail (a 13 mile foot trail to the top of Pikes Peak), and the Pikes Peak highway, an auto road to the summit. Manitou Springs is also home to the Manitou Cliff dwellings, a realistic Anasazi Indian pueblo-style home; Cave of the Winds, an underground natural caverns with stalactites and stalagmites.
